Notice Title

2021-164 Consumer Tracking Research

Notice Description

This procurement is for tracking research into domestic consumers' energy market experiences and behaviours. Recent rises in energy prices and the subsequent failure of a number of energy suppliers has prompted a significant change in the energy market. Understanding consumers' awareness, perceptions and experience of these changes, as well as how they may impact engagement in the energy market in the future is critical to Ofgem's ability to respond and adapt to these changes. Ofgem requires an independent quantitative research agency with substantial experience of delivering quantitative research surveys. The selected agency will be asked to: * Source research participants for each wave * Design the questionnaire (drawing on past surveys and Ofgem run qualitative research outputs) * Programme and implement the surveys for each wave * Conduct high quality data analysis to interpret findings from each wave * Deliver high quality publishable research outputs that will be an asset to Ofgem.
