Birmingham City Council (the Council) is undertaking consultation with service providers who may help inform and shape our approach to the future service delivery requirements at the Alexander Stadium site in Birmingham. The services that are currently under consideration include catering, facilities management, event management, stadium management including sport and leisure operations. Therefore, service providers with experience in these areas are invited to engage with us. This is an opportunity for attendees to: * Learn more about the Council's aspirations for the facility. * Input in to how best to deliver this opportunity, including an assessment of the feasibility for the project taking into account current market conditions. . The market sounding event will take place on 27th October 2021, at 10:00 via Microsoft Teams, following which participants will be asked to respond to a series of written questions that will help the Council form the final approach for the post Commonwealth Games operation of the stadium. If you are interested in receiving the documentation and attending this event, please register your interest via the In-Tend portal https://in-tendhost.co.uk/birminghamcc and you will be sent further details of the proposals and the access arrangements for the event. Registration on In-Tend is free. The system is secure and access to the clarifications will only be made available to those employees of the Council, and/or their authorised advisers in respect of this soft market sounding request.
