The National Archives is considering the replacement of its existing systems supporting description, movements, treatment of records and name authorities with records back office and editorial workflow for its archival catalogue. The systems will need to be flexible enough to allow for the expansion of archival standards and to accommodate customisation of edit\workflow service, user interface and display.
