Summary of the contracting process

The University of Reading is currently seeking proposals for the "Learning Capture System" to implement a digital recording solution across its campuses in the UK. This tender falls under the e-learning services category and is in the Tender stage, with proposals due by 10 May 2021. The contract is expected to commence on 27 July 2021 and will last until 27 July 2031. The procurement method employed is a selective approach, specifically a restricted procedure above the threshold.

This opportunity represents a significant growth potential for businesses specialising in educational technology, software development, and digital solutions. Organisations that can deliver innovative learning capture solutions, particularly those that meet accessibility standards and provide seamless integration with existing virtual learning environments, would be well-positioned to compete. Companies with experience in providing technical support and training would also enhance their chances of success in this procurement process.
