Summary of the contracting process

The Future Employment Support Programme is an upcoming procurement initiative led by AKG (UK) Employment Limited, headquartered in Milton Keynes, England. AKG, an expert in employment and behaviour change programmes, is currently in the planning stage for this tender, which aims to address employability and support various vulnerable groups across the country. The programme is being coordinated within the general public services industry category and carries CPV classifications such as job search and training services. The initiative is targeting several regions across England, including Central and West London, West Midlands, and East Midlands, among others. The key date for interested parties to engage in the process by submitting an Expression of Interest is 28th August 2026, with the process marked as 'planning' at this stage.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for businesses with expertise in employment support services, healthcare, training, and specialist support to expand their operations. Organisations experienced in providing holistic support services, including employability training, health management in the workplace, and vocational rehabilitation, would be well-suited for participation. The procurement process is inviting small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) to collaborate or partner with AKG, thereby broadening their reach and potentially enhancing their service delivery capabilities. Successful participation could facilitate business growth by engaging in the delivery of a high-quality, person-centred programme designed to enable sustainable employment for disadvantaged groups. Interested businesses should ensure they submit their Expression of Interest by the specified deadline to be considered for this opportunity.
