Summary of the contracting process

The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is currently in the planning stage for a Request for Information (RFI) regarding the provision of a Volunteering and Fundraising Application and Services Solution. This procurement process pertains to the software and information systems industry, with specific classifications in IT services, specialist organisations, community health services, and project management consultancy. The location for the delivery is Newcastle upon Tyne (NE15 8NY), England, in the United Kingdom. Key dates include the engagement end date on 25th September 2024 and a previously held webinar on 10th September 2024, which aimed to provide high-level input to assess the market and inform future procurement decisions.

This tender process presents a valuable opportunity for businesses involved in software solutions, IT consultancy, and community health services to contribute to a significant NHS initiative. The RFI seeks input on the potential investment areas, making it an ideal opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) to showcase their expertise and innovative solutions. Engaging in this process could provide substantial growth prospects for businesses capable of delivering integrated volunteering management systems, event organisation tools, and social impact reporting solutions.
