Any provider interested in this opportunity needs to be able to deliver a solution from 1st April 2019. The maximum contract value is PS6,000 per annum excluding VAT. The purpose of the service is to provide a secure information system to store details of stop smoking activity undertaken by community pharmacies, GP practices and other community based providers in Southend. If your organisation is able to meet the requirements and you are interested in this potential opportunity you will need to email leewatson@southend.gov.uk quoting Stop Smoking/2019 by 12noon on Friday 15th February 2019. Should there be interest in this service, a procurement procedure will be adopted for this service and the council would expect to commence the process in February 2019. The term of a new contract would be four years. If there is no interest expressed or request to participate, the Council will award a contract to the current provider for a maximum period of four years.
