The Active Torque Dynamics (ATD) 'E-Drive' project will simulate and retrofit an improved ATD system to an in-service Jackal 2 vehicle. The system, which will be retrofitted to the in-service vehicle will autonomously select or correct the best combination of power, drive and braking to produce optimum grip to increase mobility and control to improve safety.
