Notice Information
Notice Title
Planning and Regulatory Services Casework Management System
Notice Description
The City of London Corporation (the 'City') is carrying out Soft Market Testing ('SMT') in relation to Planning and Regulatory Services Casework Management System. The City will consider the feedback received as part of this SMT phase to help inform its decision making where appropriate. For the avoidance of doubt, this phase of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the City is not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process. Participation or non-participation in the SMT shall not prevent any supplier participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the SMT shall place any supplier at an advantage in a potential procurement process. Participation in the SMT will be at each organisation's own cost. No expense in responding to this SMT will be reimbursed by the City. Additional information: This is a SMT exercise in relation to an upcoming requirement the City has for a planning and regulatory services casework management system. The City currently uses two separate solutions to support the services of its departments for Markets and Consumer Protection and for the Built Environment. The City is primarily investigating whether it is viable and feasible to rationalise these systems into a single solution and whether this is likely to be the best value for money option available. In addition to this, the City would like views from the supply market on the best possible method of hosting the solution/s in relation to the impact on value for money and statements regarding your capability to achieve this. Finally, the City would like to find out about the solutions that the supply market could potentially offer to meet its requirements. Any information provided here is purely for information only and to inform the City of solutions that it may not already be aware of. It will also help inform the specifications in terms of the standards applied and common traits across the marketplace. Invited participants will not be prejudiced by any response or failure to respond to the SMT or failure to attend any follow up face-to-face interviews that may be arranged at the absolute discretion of the City. If your organisation would like to participate in this SMT exercise, it can do so by completing and returning the SMT Questionnaire which can be found on the City's eprocurement portal at www.capitalesourcing.com. Participants should register as a supplier on the portal on the aforementioned link (if not already), then search for the opportunity titled 'Planning and Regulatory Services Casework Management System' where the SMT Questionnaire can be obtained. The City has an estimated budget of PS375,000 for the implementation of such a solution with approximate running costs of PS800,000 over ten years. Please ensure the SMT Questionnaire is uploaded to the capital esourcing portal www.capitalesourcing.com by 12:00 noon on 23/03/2020.
