Apprenticeship Delivery Pseudo-Framework
Notice Description
In May 2017 the government changed the way it funds apprenticeships in England. Some employers are required to contribute to the apprenticeship levy, and there have been changes to the funding for apprenticeship training for all employers. The levy applies to all large employers with a salary bill of over PS3 million, the funding rules for levy-paying employers came in to force on 1st May 2017. The levy aims to increase the number of apprenticeships and sets clear targets for Local Authorities. It provides a more employer led, flexible approach to apprenticeships in a range of industries and at different levels.
