Notice Title

Soft Market Test Peterborough City Council - Community Alarm (Lifeline) Contract

Notice Description

Peterborough City Council (PCC) will soon be tendering their Community Alarm (Lifeline) Contract and are considering different pricing models - for example lease / rental of equipment, or buy back / credit models. We are interested to hear the views of providers prior to finalising the service specification. Providers are invited to comment and suggest other options based on their previous experience. Providers are advised that in PCC the first six weeks of provision are funded by the local authority, and thereafter the customer takes over the ongoing monitoring costs. The City Council continues to be responsible for funding any additional peripheral sensors and detectors after the first six weeks Please note that this is not a call for competition, neither is it a procurement exercise but an opportunity for Peterborough City Council to better understand the supply market for providers to showcase their ideas. Response date Please submit all responses through the SourceDogg system by 12 noon on the 8th September 2020.
