Notice Description

Forward Swindon Limited, on behalf of Swindon Borough Council (SBC), wishes to submit to tender to procure an operator to manage the property known as 'Unit 3 and Unit 5 of the Swindon Carriage Works' for a 3 year period, to create an innovation centre for knowledge-based start-up and small companies that will foster a community of entrepreneurs. The outcomes include: * Achieving the vision of creating an enterprise incubator for knowledge intensive start-up and growing small businesses * Occupancy levels (at least 80% by end of contract period) * Accommodating at least 30 start-up and small and medium sized industries * At least five different business sectors represented (as Carriage Works should support a diverse range of businesses) in knowledge based businesses in line with the overall Vision for the Carriage Works * Net income to the council over 3 years in line with business plan targets Full details are provided in the tender documents. Contract Period The contract will be for a period of 3 years commencing October 2017. The relevant tender documents are included within this project webpage as attachments. Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 7 August 2017 12.00
