Heritage Wall Repair, Roman Wall, Rochester Riverside
Notice Description
Medway Council is looking to procure a repair and maintenance contract for the upkeep of the heritage structure. The remains of the Roman city wall on the Rochester Riverside site are a Grade I listed building.All works to be undertaken require listed building consent. Historic England's Inspector of Historic Buildings and Areas, and Medway Council's Senior Conservation Officer are being consulted and will continue to be consulted through the site works.
