Gallery Library and Museum (GLaM) - Improvements and Transformation
Notice Description
Kettering benefits from having a cluster of heritage assets located within the town centre's Cultural Quarter- Alfred East Art Gallery, Library and Manor House Museum (GLaM). A feasibility study conducted in 2019 identified options to significantly improve and transform the physical assets within GLaM. For us to be able to access funding opportunities, when they become available, we are commissioning a further piece of work to progress the project whereby at the end of RIBA Stage 3 (Developed Design) we have sufficient detail to enable a full planning application to be submitted by January 2021. Additional information: This project is time critical and therefore if you genuinely cannot meet the Councils procurement key timescales and deadlines then please do not submit a bid. The procurement timescales and deadlines are: 1. Invitation to Quotation published on Contracts Finder - 20th April 2020 2. Deadline for Clarification Questions by the bidders - 12 noon on 1st May 2020 3. Deadline for Quotation Responses - 12 noon on 12th May 2020 4. Quotation Evaluation - 13th - 15th May 2020 5. Award Decision - w/c 18th May 2020 6. Proposed Contract Start Date - 25th May 2020 7. Inception Meeting - w/c 25th May 2020 8.
