Notice Description

1.1.2 Medway Council is seeking to appoint a heritage interpretation consultant/agency to further develop the draft interpretation strategy document prepared at Stage 1 of this Heritage Lottery Funded project and to oversee the delivery of the agreed interpretation elements in line with the timelines of Stage 2 of the project to be completed by Spring 2020. The interpretation element of this project is seen as key to provide the vital layer of engagement and education which will sit alongside the restoration and improvement works to ensure that the site remains viable and sustainable into the future and to provide the opportunity for those with disabilities to access the heritage even if they are physically unable to explore the site. In achieving this it will meet the HLF's priority objectives that: * heritage will be better interpreted and explained * people will have learned about heritage * people will have had an enjoyable experience * more, and a wider range of people will have engaged with heritage Please access this opportunity via the Kent Business Portal, Ref: DN291433
