Summary of the contracting process

The Manchester City Council is currently conducting a selective tender for the project titled "TC993 MCRactive Membership Scheme and Integration Hub". This initiative aims to address market gaps for Manchester residents and integrate suppliers without a centralised booking system. The procurement is classified under the software package and information systems industry, with the tender period ending on 27th February 2019. The contract is expected to last for three years, starting around 28th June 2019, with the possibility of extensions. Bidders can respond to one or more of the four lots specified, each containing distinct requirements for the digital innovation solution.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for businesses, particularly those specialising in software development, IT systems integration, and digital solutions. Companies that can facilitate centralised booking systems, reporting and dashboards, API development, and data repositories will find themselves well-suited to compete for the contract. Additionally, applicants should be prepared to engage in the project's economic and social regeneration goals in Manchester. As the contract emphasises collaboration amongst multiple suppliers, businesses with strong project management capabilities will also have an advantage in this competitive bidding process.
