Summary of the contracting process

Tandridge District Council, through its SE Shared Services division, has awarded a contract titled "TDC RM Servicing and Replacement of Domestic Heating Appliances." This procurement falls within the repair and maintenance services industry category and is located in the South East of the United Kingdom. The award process is complete, with the contract period set to commence on 1st April 2018 and run until 31st March 2025, with a potential extension of three years. The initial contract value is £3,500,000, and it encompasses servicing and maintenance for approximately 2,600 domestic heating systems across various locations.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in heating services, maintenance, and repair, particularly those that have experience with domestic installations. Given the scale of operations required and an overall tender value exceeding £3 million, companies that can demonstrate capacity to deliver high-quality service on a large scale will be well-positioned to compete. This includes both small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are capable of providing responsive and reliable service to meet the requirements outlined by Tandridge District Council.
