Notice Title

Provision of Northgate Housing user training

Notice Description

Northgate Housing has been our incumbent supplier for the last 25 years for a number of processes, tasks and services. It is acknowledged across the team that the value and capability of this product has never being fully realised due to a lack of investment and the benefits of one system across all teams fully utilised. It is also acknowledged that a number of our current additional software solutions are not providing us with the real-time updates, trend analysis and reporting functionality that a modern and forward thinking proactive Local Authority housing department should be aiming for. At the core of any housing service is the ability to manage and support potential and future customers and assets. This project aims to put customers and their ability to self-serve at the heart of the proposed system and process reviews. Currently the housing department software does not support self-service. Northgate has the proven capability of being able to integrate with GOSS, our web front end service, E-Cins and Pentana for self-service reporting, tracking and logging. This training requirement has become apparent due to major improvements being made to the Northgate Housing System. South Holland District Council requires a training proposal from experienced IT training providers, who have had experience with the Northgate Housing System. Trainers will be required to undertake a skills audit of existing Officers, identifying those who may need additional 1:1 coaching. Training and support will also be provided to Northgate 'champions' together with the creation of quick guides for future post holders in the Housing Dept. Training to begin no later than Q2 21/22. Training proposals should include details of how existing Officer abilities will be scoped. Bespoke training for Managers including reporting to support a performance management culture. Training should include all support materials, details of access to the training database and how course materials will be presented. In order to express your interest, please email martin.gibbs@breckland.gov.uk, who is working on behalf of South Holland District Council, providing details of your previous training experience. Should you require any further details, please outline these to Martin Gibbs and he will look to put you in touch with the Project Manager.
