Summary of the contracting process

The Portsmouth City Council (PCC) is currently conducting a market consultation for the procurement of a legal case management software system. This initiative falls under the 'services' category and is primarily aimed at enhancing the council's legal operations. The consultation process commenced on 15th January 2020 and will conclude on 29th January 2020. Following this phase, a full tender could be conducted to select an appropriate supplier(s) to meet the legal service needs of the council. Interested suppliers are encouraged to engage through the e-sourcing system, Intend, to express their interest and submit relevant information.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for technology companies specialising in legal software solutions and related services to expand their business. Providers that showcase innovative and effective legal case management systems could find themselves well-positioned to benefit from future contracts with PCC. Smaller and medium-sized enterprises with proven technology offerings in legal services are particularly encouraged to participate, as the market consultation invites feedback that may shape the specifications needed by the council, thereby directly impacting their potential involvement in forthcoming procurement processes.
