The purpose of this brief is to seek the services of an experienced facilitator and project manager who will work with land managers to develop and deliver a strong programme of engagement and advice built upon a developing network of peer-to-peer support within the farming community. Contract Focus: To encourage a sense of place in the wider landscape so that land managers feel part of a connected environment. To build a peer-to-peer support network allowing farmers and land managers to build local resilience. To build a responsive programme of events offering a bespoke, flexible service. To programme events sensitively, avoiding busiest times of the farming calendar. To develop a programme tailored to the wide range of farming interest represented within the operational area of the project, for example upland livestock farming, lowland arable practices, next generation farmers, and gamekeepers and estate managers amongst many others. Identify opportunities to link with existing groups. To utilise a variety of delivery techniques in order to maximise reach and impact.
