Summary of the contracting process

The National Army Museum (NAM), located in London, is seeking bids for the manufacture and installation of new donor boards, with a total budget of £12,000. This tender is classified under the CPV code for Signage and falls within the goods procurement category. The procurement process is currently at the tender stage, with the deadline for submissions set for 14th May 2021. The successful contract period will commence on 17th May 2021 and conclude by 5th July 2021. This opportunity has been announced under a limited procurement method, specifically a competitive quotation process.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) specialised in signage and design services, particularly those with experience in delivering culturally sensitive products for museums or public institutions. Companies that exhibit creativity in design and a strong understanding of project execution within a museum environment would be well-positioned to compete. Engaging with this contract could not only enhance visibility but also fulfil a vital role in commemorating contributions to the Army by creating a more inviting design aesthetic for the museum.

Notice Title

Manufacture and Installation of Donor Boards

Notice Description

The NAM, a Body incorporated by Royal Charter (1960), is the British Army's own Museum. It is the only museum in the United Kingdom to tell the Story of Our Army as a whole from its inception to today's military operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere. It commemorates the contribution of soldiers, male and female, who have served in Our Army. By using examples from the past, the NAM inspires the present generation of soldiers to understand that they are the inheritors of a rich tradition of bravery, service and professionalism. The National Army Museum periodically receives donations from benefactors. Currently these donations are listed on glass panels in the entrance to the Museum, however NAM will remove these boards as we wish to replace them with a less corporate design aesthetic. The National Army Museum is seeking a company to manufacture a new multi faceted donor board.
