Summary of the contracting process

Birmingham City Council has awarded a contract for the demolition of a fire-damaged property located at 81 Moseley Road, Highgate Park, Balsall Heath, Birmingham, B12 0HL. The procurement process has reached the award stage, with the contract scheduled to commence in August 2018 and conclude by the end of September 2018. The estimated value of this work is between £15,000 and £25,000, classified under the industry category of demolition, site preparation, and clearance work. Furthermore, the requirement to adhere to the Birmingham Business Charter for Social Responsibility suggests that local businesses that support community initiatives may have a competitive advantage.
