Notice Description

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (the 'Trust') is seeking, without prejudice, market engagement in advance of advertising a procurement to provide an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system and associated services. The procurement forms part of a wider transformation programme across the Trust. The Trust intends to run this procurement using the Competitive Dialogue procedure. It is expected that the outcomes of this PIN and subsequent associated activity will help to inform the nature and content of that process. The Trust plans to publish the Contract Notice and SQ in the OJEU in May 2018, leading to contract award in early summer 2019. The Trust's planned market engagement is designed to test the market in terms of the achievability of the scope, scale and timeframe of our requirements and to encourage input from potential suppliers to the design of the service provision. The Trust considers that this procurement represents a unique opportunity for the 'right' Potential Provider to develop a true, clinically driven, joint-working based partnership with innovative and forward-looking Trust over the next 10 years or more. The Trust believes that this procurement offers an excellent opportunity to deliver a 'best in class' clinically driven benefits realisation package via the use of leading edge technology. The Trust is planning a 'Potential Provider Briefing Day' on Tuesday 1st May 2018 from 9am until 12pm. The event will be held at The Nowgen Centre, 19 Grafton Street, Manchester M13 9WU. Providers wishing to express an interest in participating in the provider briefing day should register their interest on the EU Supply Website. To register on EU Supply please log onto the following website https://uk.eu-supply.com and look for PIN reference number 31092 - MFT 084 EPR 2018 - Provision of Electronic Patient Record System for Manchester University Foundation Trust. Interested Providers are requested to send a message via the Portal to secure a place. There will be the opportunity for Potential Providers to request a 30 minute, one to one discussion with key personnel from the Trust on the day. Please note these slots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If demand for these slots exceeds the time available on the day, the Trust will also make additional teleconference slots between 10.00-17.00 on Wednesday 2nd May 2018.
