Notice Description

Medway Council is conducting a procurement to provide cashless parking services to include all council Pay and Display car parks and all on street Pay and Display bays within Medway. Through this Contract, Medway Council intends to develop improved payment options and services to our customers through clear processes, procedures and signage. The service will enable prompt payment of Council income and enable a full auditable trace of transactions to enable effective Civil Parking Enforcement to be maintained. The contracted service is comprised of: The provision and administration of cashless payment systems via phone, mobile phone App and web enabled services where available; Signage provision and maintenance (including tariff changes, etc.); Promotion of the service to facilitate car park usage; Provision of detailed auditable accounts relating to each transaction and total income for both Client and Contractor; Enquiry/complaint handling. The contract requires a resilient system to operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year that complies with the requirements of the specification.
