The provision of the Support and Maintenance Services for Unit4 Business World

Notice Description

This specification is for the provision of a Support & Maintenance and Additional Services contract for Unit4 Business World "UBW" for which Leicester City Council "The Council" owns a site licence in perpetuity. The proposed services must be fit for purpose. The Council wishes to appoint a single provider to enter into a contract to maintain the system for an initial term of five (5) years, with the option to extend the maintenance contract for a further three (3) plus one (1), plus one (1) years under the same terms and conditions. Extensions will be subject to satisfactory performance by the successful provider and at the discretion of the Council. For the successful provider, the Council may require additional services in relation to professional services and/or additional functionality to enhance the solution as well as provide Support & Maintenance Services for the same. However, this is neither guaranteed nor exclusive to the successful supplier. Where additional services and/or new functionality is required there will be a requirement for the supplier to undertake an assessment. As part of this assessment the successful provider will be required to provide workable options with a detailed statement of works that includes roles and responsibilities of both parties and full details of costs associated. Additional scope and/or services, where required, will be governed as a variation to the contract and will not create a new contract.
