Notice Description

The Northern Lighthouse Board has a requirement to upgrade teh Machinery Monitoring, Indication and alarm System onboard NLV Pole Star. The current system was installed from New Build but is no longer supported. The existing system (Praxis G-Data) monitors the status of machinery, systems, tanks, etc, Alarm allows for umanned operation of machinery spaces and is suitable for UMS Certification from Llyods Register of Shipping. It is important that all interested parties attend a site visit on the 26 January 2017 when the vessel is planned to be in Oban.
