Watford Borough Council wishes to appoint a consultant / contractor to carry out the design and implementation of a Pilot Heritage Trail which includes: Creating an easy to follow, self-guided Pilot Heritage Trail in Watford's Town Centre High Street which provides visitors and local residents with an insight into our rich local history, joinable at any point; To encourage public interest in local surroundings, building interest through signs and gateway points along the trail with easy to scan QR codes which shares historical information or fun facts; To have an accessible Heritage Trail that is downloadable and printable from the museum, not dependent on digital technology; and To encourage schools to explore the trail by adapting content into a 'school friendly' version. Please review and complete the attached Expression of Interest if you want to participate in this opportunity. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
