Specification/list of duties: * Providing technical support for the specialised telecoms systems used by MPST, the Enquiry Unit and the Press Office * Management of the main telephony PABX in 1 Victoria Street and day to day Management the Siemens mobility telephony service (issuing numbers, carrying out software changes and running reports to identify redundant services) * Carrying out planned and ad hoc telecoms moves and changes in all BIS locations. * Remote support for Telephony software changes at BIS Glasgow, Watford, Sheffield, Birmingham and Nottingham Sites * Management of the BIS Standalone PABX in 1 Victoria Street * Maintenance and installation of telecoms cabling and telephone handsets across the BIS estate. * Providing onsite technical support for the Simplicity Video Conferencing service * Providing onsite technical support for The Cloud WiFi service * Technical support for the Brent secure telephony/fax service * Maintenance and testing of The Departmental Business Continuity Plan Telephony services. * Installation and support of standalone Broadband services across the BIS estate. * Management of the Tiger Call Logging system * Carrying out site surveys for new telecoms and network services * Managing requirements for Audio Conferencing accounts and equipment" Additional information: As part of the strategic alliance between UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS) and Crown Commercial Service (CCS), UK SBS can use the CCS eSourcing Suite for future procurements.
