Southend Borough Council is looking to implement footfall and performance data infrastructure across the town centre to provide insights about town centre performance and to assess the impact of town centre developments and investments on pedestrian movements. Robust metrics are needed to evidence economic impact and inform future policy development and decision making aimed at improving town centre performance.
