Notice Description

Oxfordshire's multi-agency safeguarding arrangements for both vulnerable adults and children are partnership-led by key statutory organisations across the county; the respective partnerships for these arrangements are called the Oxfordshire Safeguarding Adults Board (OSAB) and the Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children Board (OSCB). The children's arrangements, in particular, are led by Oxfordshire County Council, Thames Valley Police and NHS Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group. Working Together to Safeguard Children' 2018 - Chapter 1 paragraph requires the local safeguarding partners to deliver Multi-agency training collective understanding of local need and the services available to support children and young people. 2.2 Each partnership has a role in safeguarding training for local practitioners as well as in ensuring that safeguarding messages in terms of practice improvement, learning and resources are communicated clearly. With respect to the children's arrangements, in particular, 'Working Together' Chapter 1 paragraph requires[1] the local safeguarding partners to deliver Multi-agency training collective understanding of local need and the services available to support children and young people
