Summary of the contracting process

The UK Health Security Agency is exploring digital technologies for contact tracing, infection surveillance and public health response across the United Kingdom. The requirement concerns software packages and information systems to support case and contact management, including identifying and reporting cases, assessing exposure, notifying contacts, investigating outbreaks, and managing isolation or quarantine. The key dates for this RFI are as follows: RFI Published: 18th September 2026 RFI Response 2nd October 2026 For the purposes of this RFI, case and contact management refers to the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of individuals who are infected with, exposed to, or otherwise at risk from an infectious disease.
