Notice Description

Hamble le Rice Parish Council is seeking the renewal of its play equipment, seating, surfacing and fencing to the play area at Bartletts Field in Hamble. The current equipment has been in situ 20 years and a range of creative equipment is required for children aged between 2-11 years of age. The council wants to see a scheme that improves the visual impression of the current space, creates a more coherent surface strategy to promote all year use as well as provide educational and exciting equipment for all children in this age group regardless of ability. Following the submission of tenders the council will select 4 providers based on its evaluation matrix. Providers will be asked to attend a consultation event on the 1st and 2nd October with children and users and the result of this will be used by the council in its selection of provider. Interested parties will be required to submit a Tender Acknowledgement by the 31.08.18 and with the Tender Responses deadline being 17.09.18. The scheme should be completed by the 14.12.18. More detail is available. The successful tenderer will be expected to enter into a JCT Minor Works with contractors design 2016.
