Summary of the contracting process

The NHS Blood & Transplant (NHSBT) is initiating a planned procurement for "Microbiology Serology Testing" services, aimed at advancing laboratory capabilities within the UK healthcare sector. The contract, valued at approximately £6.5 million annually, encompasses essential testing for both blood and non-blood donations across two locations: Filton and Manchester. Interested suppliers are required to register their interest by 12:00 on 8th February 2021, with virtual supplier engagement days scheduled for 22nd, 24th, and 25th February 2021.
