The increase of an additional PS374,122.00 is 36% of the original contract award value. Any change of contractor at this stage would cause significant inconvenience to the ongoing service delivery. There are also technical grounds in that the current Contractor is the only body able to maintain and service the current solution. The option to extend was included in the original tender documentation. Failure to extend will result in the service being without an Online School To Home Engagement Software tool for Nursery & Primary Pupils."
