Notice Description
The CDS Programme require Broadband -- Technical Advisory and Programme Management Services to provide advice and contract management throughout the implementation phases of all their current and future CDS contracts. All personnel appointed by the successful tenderer will be expected to work as part of an overall Programme Team based in Exeter and Taunton and in particular be used to working alongside other consultants to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach across different disciplines. Further the Broadband- Technical Advisory and Programme Management Services must be committed to the principle of adding value to the Programme and the successful tenderer is required to ensure that there is sufficient capacity and expertise provided at all times to the CDS Programme

Technical Advisory Services to the Connecting Devon and Somerset Programme
To provide technical advice and guidance on current and future CDS contracts, developments in digital, broadband and gigabit technologies to ensure that the Programme Director and CDS team is informed about new opportunities and solutions which may help to solve problems of digital inequality in areas and for premises which do not have a reliable digital service which would achieve at least NGA upload and download speeds and reliability of service level.
Renewal: optional 3 x12 month extensions to a maximum total term of 84 months, at the authorities sole discretion.
Programme Management Services to the Connecting Devon and Somerset ProgrammeTo provide a Programme Management Service to support the implementation of the contracts provided as in scope for the tender set out in this specification and its community challenge programme and Mobile Boost Initiative complementing the existing CDS core team, working to the Programme Director and with the Programme Manager, and be a member of the programme leadership team.
Renewal: optional 3 x12 month extensions to a maximum total term of 84 months, at the authorities sole discretion.
