Powered Adult Standard Wheelchair

Adult powered wheelchairs are intended to assist and support patients with mobility and movement restrictions whilst improving their quality of life, independence and safety.

Options: This framework agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for a further period of up to 24 months in addition to the initial 24 months set out in the framework agreement.

Casting - Plaster of Paris

This Lot is for the supply of bandage Plaster of Paris rolls and bandage plaster of Paris slabs. When wet it is conformable to the desired shape, and when dries it forms a hard shell to immobilise the desired body area.

Options: This framework agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for a further period of up to 24 months in addition to the initial 24 months set out in the framework agreement.

Powered Adult Heavy Duty Wheelchair

Adult powered heavy-duty wheelchairs, intended to assist and support patients up to 160Kg with mobility and movement restrictions whilst improving their quality of life, independence and safety.

This Lot is for the supply of Acute Care Immobilisation Devices these devices are used to immobilise patients in the pre-hospital or in-patient hospital environment.

Options: This Framework Agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 48 months.

Non-Powered Adult Bariatric Wheelchair 160kg+

Adult non-powered bariatric wheelchairs with reinforced construction which are intended to assist and support patients over 160Kg with mobility and movement restrictions whilst improving their quality of life, independence and safety.

Options: This framework agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for a further period of up to 24 months in addition to the initial 24 months set out in the framework agreement.

Non-Powered Adult Active Wheelchair

Managed Service

A comprehensive managed service including patient referrals and assessments and servicing and repairs and maintenance services which will all be operated locally at locations which meet the needs of individual service users and participating authorities.

Options: This framework agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for a further period of up to 24 months in addition to the initial 24 months set out in the framework agreement.

Static Seating Systems - Minimum User Weight 125kg (20Stone)

Static seating systems intended to assist and support patients over 125kg with mobility and movement restrictions whilst improving their quality of life, independence and safety.

Options: This framework agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for a further period of up to 24 months in addition to the initial 24 months set out in the framework agreement.

This Lot is for the supply of Rigid, Semi-Rigid and Flexible Casting tapes. These are used for fracture management and treatment of orthopaedic conditions. Products will immobilise the desired body area to aid bone or soft tissue healing.

Options: This framework agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for a further period of up to 24 months in addition to the initial 24 months set out in the framework agreement.

Casting Tape - Thermal Activated

This Lot is for the supply of a Thermal Activated Casting Tape (Requires temperature >60degC to activate). These are used for fracture management and treatment of orthopaedic conditions. Products will immobilise the desired body area to aid bone or soft tissue healing.

Options: This framework agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for a further period of up to 24 months in addition to the initial 24 months set out in the framework agreement.

Casting Splints

This Lot is for the supply of casting splints and related products. These include splints on a roll both padded and unpadded and pre-cut splints. Products will immobilise the desired body area to aid bone or soft tissue healing.

Options: This Framework Agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 48 months.

Casting Splints - Thermal Activated

This Lot is for the supply of Thermal Activated Splints and related products. The Casting Splint is Activated by heat above 60degC. Products will immobilise the desired body area to aid bone or soft tissue healing.

Options: This Framework Agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 48 months.

Casting Stockinette - Natural

This Lot is for the supply of Stockinettes made from a natural ribbed material with no elastic properties. For the purpose of this specification stockinettes are the first layer applied during cast application to protect the patient's skin. Natural stockinettes are made from cotton, rayon, viscose or other suitable material.

Options: This Framework Agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 48 months.

Casting Stockinette - Synthetic

This Lot is for the supply of Stockinettes made from synthetic materials, ribbed with no elastic properties. For the purpose of this specification stockinettes are the first layer applied during cast application to protect the patient's skin. Synthetic stockinettes are made from polyester or other suitable synthetic material.

Options: This Framework Agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 48 months.

Casting Pre -Tape

This Lot is for the supply of casting Pre-Tape this is a very thin foam or paper under-wrap that is applied over padding to create a smooth compressed layer underneath casting.

Options: This Framework Agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 48 months.

Casting Accessories

This Lot is for the supply of Casting Accessories. These products are to support the use of casting.

Options: This Framework Agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 48 months.

Envelope Slings

This Lot is for the supply of envelope slings which, is an Envelope Sling which provides supports the forearm from the wrist to the elbow.

Options: This Framework Agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 48 months.

Collar and Cuff Slings

This Lot is for the supply of Collar and Cuff Slings, these are a length of foam dispensed from a roll that is cuttable to the desired length and which can be fixed using a suitable fixation method (e.g. hook and loop tabs or cable ties) to form a loop which goes around the neck and the wrist forming a support to take the weight of the limb.

Options: This Framework Agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 48 months.

Traction Frames for Beds and Associated Accessories

This Lot is for the supply of Traction frames for beds and associated accessories. To provide a frame that attaches securely to the bed so that traction treatments or limb elevation can be applied.

Options: This Framework Agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 48 months.

Skin Traction Kits

This Lot is for the supply of skin traction kits. Skin traction kits provide non-invasive traction to limbs after injury or surgery.

Options: This Framework Agreement will have the option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 48 months.
