Notice Description

The Police and Crime Commissioners for Gwent and South Wales have a requirement for the provision for catering for planned and unplanned events and invite catering organisations to tender. Planned operational events are scheduled and organised in advance. The majority of events requiring catering take place at weekends and/or public holidays and examples are football matches, other sporting events, royal visits, demonstrations, concerts, marches, etc. A number of unplanned major incidents are also likely throughout the force areas during the Contract Period. The number of such events are unpredictable and unknown and may occur at short notice. The catering will take the form of producing and delivering packed lunches to the police officers and staff on duty at such events. Further details are included in the tender documentation. The Service requirements are split into two geographical lots: Lot 1 Provision of Catering for Planned Events for South Wales Police Force Lot 2 Provision of Catering for Planned Events for Gwent Police Force You are able to bid for lots 1 or 2 or both lots. Provision of Catering Services for Planned Events for South Wales Police Area

The provision of catering for planned events covering the South Wales Police Force geographical area. The duration of the contract is for twenty four months, with options to extend for a further two twelve month periods.

Renewal: After the initial 36 months there is the option to extend for a further 12 month period.

Provision of Catering Services for Planned Events for Gwent Police Area

The provision of catering for planned events for the Gwent Police Force geographical area. The duration of the contract is for three years, with an option to extend for a further twelve month period.

Renewal: After the initial 36 months there is the option to extend for a further 12 month period.
