Forestry England is looking to procure a web based closed bid tender Sales system, which must be fully integrated with Forestry England's eTimber database to allow for data transfer between both systems.
Hosting, maintenance and development of eTimber, WMS and LMS systemsThe technical requirements we will expect from any potential supplier for Lot 2 are as follows: - Application Management Service, including the hosting, support, maintenance and continual enhancement of Forestry England's eTimber, Larder Management System (LMS) and Wildlife Management System (WMS) applications. - Hosting of all applications is currently provided using AWS cloud infrastructure services, with connections to Forestry England and third party environments facilitating SFTP and web services data exchange interfaces to key systems. - Knowledge of AWS infrastructure, networking, security and RDS database services is essential. - Application technologies in scope include RHEL, Oracle Database, Oracle APEX, Business Objects, Apache Tomcat, Angular, Spring and Jasper Reports. - Support the existing DevOps delivery approach and maintenance of the automated CI/CD pipeline is also required. - On-going development and enhancement of the applications
eTendering SystemForestry England may also consider incorporating the future provision of it's eTendering system into this contract (possibly as a separate Lot).
