Scotland's Railway Slabtrack Repair & Maintenance Framework
Notice Description
Scotland's Railway Slabtrack Repair & Maintenance Framework between Network Rail and one Contractor will deliver repair and maintenance works for the 18 miles of slabtrack across Scotland's Railway. The Contractor shall be required to respond to call outs within the below timescales: Urgent Response: Attend within 24 hours of Instruction Route Maintenance: Attend within 7 days of Instruction Programmed: As stated in Contract Order The framework encompasses a broad range of slabtrack-related tasks on and around the railway infrastructure. Key activities include: * General Slabtrack Works: All trades related to slabtrack, including track fixings and sub-structure work. * Inspection and Assessment Support: Enabling works to facilitate inspections and assessments. * Urgent Response: Capability to address urgent situations promptly and respond within 24 hours. * Design Work: Involvement in design tasks as required. * Logistical Support: Booking possessions, isolations, and road closures, as well as managing materials stockholding and transportation. * Surveys and Testing: Conducting surveys and laboratory testing as needed. * Inspection and Testing: Conduct suitable inspection and testing of works in line with railway standards. The framework shall have no committed spend however, it is estimated that there shall be approximately PS30 million (including options and headroom) worth of works awarded via this contract over the lifespan of the framework.

Procurement of a framework to carry out repair and maintenance works of Network Rail's slabtrack asset across Scotland.
Options: This Framework Agreement may be extended for an additional 2 years with 2 No. 1 Year options at Network Rail's sole discretion. Maximum duration of 6 years (4+1+1).
Stations and Non-Lineside InfrastructureFramework Agreement for construction works projects. No minimum or maximum value to individual projects to be called off via the Framework Agreement.
Options: Option to extend for a maximum of three (3) years in 12 month periods.
Mechanical and ElectricalFramework Agreement for construction works projects. No minimum or maximum value to individual projects to be called off via the Framework Agreement.
Options: Option to extend for a maximum of three (3) years in 12 month periods.
Station PaintingFramework Agreement for construction works projects. No minimum or maximum value to individual projects to be called off via the Framework Agreement.
