Summary of the contracting process

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) recently completed a procurement process for the provision of Salesforce Model Reverse Engineering software, titled "CON-21-120". This contract falls under the IT services industry, specifically focusing on consulting and software development. The procurement method used was limited, with a decision to proceed without prior publication due to previously unsuccessful tendering attempts. The award was made to Silwood Technology Limited for a one-year term, which commenced on 19th May 2021, and included an option for a one-year extension. The contract has a total value of £54,918.45 and was delivered within the United Kingdom.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in IT services, particularly those with expertise in database software and development. Companies that can offer innovative solutions for data modelling, especially in relation to Salesforce, will find this contract appealing. As the FCA has indicated a preference for suppliers who have demonstrated competency, businesses with experience in similar projects or those that can provide bespoke software solutions are well-positioned to compete in this space. Engaging with public contracts like this one can enhance growth potential and establish long-term relationships with public sector clients.
