Supply of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution and associated services
Notice Description
1. The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to alert potential suppliers to an opportunity in relation to the supply of an EPR to support Sheffield HSC in the delivery of Mental Health and Social Care services. 2. Sheffield HSC is seeking to procure a provider of hosted, fully managed Electronic Patient Record solutions to replace the existing inhouse developed and maintained EPR. 3. Sheffield HSC are seeking a supplier to provide a range of deployment/implementation services as well as hosting the EPR and providing support and maintenance services on a continuing basis. 4. It is expected that the maximum potential contract term will be 10 years but this is subject to confirmation. 5. It is intended that neighbouring NHS Mental Health Trusts that may form relationships or consortiums with Sheffield HSC would be able to join the contract that may arise from any future procurement activities. 6. Potential suppliers are invited to attend a Supplier Briefing session on the 24th June 2021. This session will be a virtual session hosted via Teams. In the event that Sheffield HSC decides to formally commence the procurement of the EPR and Associated Services a separate contract notice will be issued. Additional information: This Supplier Briefing Event does not form part of a formal procurement process and Sheffield HSC reserves the right to decide whether or not to proceed with any tendering procedures in relation to these contracts. Potential suppliers shall be solely responsible for any costs which they incur as a result of participating in any aspect of this market engagement exercise.
