This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in software development, particularly those with experience in law enforcement solutions and data acquisition technologies. Companies that can deliver secure and versatile software that meets the unique needs of police forces will be especially well-suited to compete. Additionally, potential bidders should ensure compliance with the Cyber Essentials scheme and have the necessary NPPV clearance, alongside a valid DUNS number, to participate effectively in this procurement process.

Lot Information

Lot 1

Thames Valley Police as the authority is interested in suppliers that can provide a software application for use on existing Force mobile devices to enable the safe and secure acquisition of specific, small-volume, consent-based digital evidence from a witness or victim mobile device at-scene, removing the need for a device seizure. We are not seeking to procure separate hardware devices as part of this requirement. We require the ability to verify, validate and audit the method of digital evidence acquisition, catalogue and create notes pertinent to the acquisition, and the ability to create reports to be output in a universal free-reader format.
