Notice Description
The Business Support Service (BSS) contract will commission a professional business support service that engages with new and existing businesses in Wirral. The contract will include the provision of key sector support service; support for the third sector utilising budget from Public Health; support the Council's community wealth building aspirations; support the provision of careers advice to young people via a separate lot.

Business Support Service
The new Business Support Service will reflect the current context in which businesses operate, provide demand-led, evidence-based, and impactful support. This includes responding to the challenges and opportunities emanating from: the global Covid-19 pandemic; Brexit and new trade regimes; changes in the market for business support, and; new and emerging local priorities that include community wealth building, regeneration programmes and the Wirral Plan 2026.
Lot 2Wirral Council are seeking to procure bespoke employer led careers education provision for secondary school young people. The provision must be designed to be inclusive, raise aspirations and engage young people in a way that inspires them to succeed.
