Summary of the contracting process

The Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust is currently seeking contractors for the "MP 1 Camellia House and Car Park Construction Works" project located in Rotherham, UK. This active procurement is at the tender stage and is being conducted through a restricted procedure under the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The estimated contract value is £3,500,000, with a submission deadline of 15th October 2021. A site visit is scheduled for 22nd September 2021, and interested parties are advised to confirm attendance by 20th September. The contract period is anticipated to last for 300 days, with potential extensions if additional funding is secured.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the construction sector, particularly those specialising in refurbishment and historical building preservation. Companies with expertise in works related to cafes, meeting accessibility requirements, and managing ground engineering projects, such as the construction of car parks and the removal of hazardous materials, will be well-suited to compete. As the procurement process incorporates a selective approach, contractors must ensure they meet the necessary qualifications and criteria as outlined in the procurement documents to be shortlisted.
