Construction Framework for Leicester City Council - PAN2580
Notice Description
Leicester City Council is setting up a Framework Agreement, for the provision of construction and associated services with an estimated total value of PS50,000,000. The proposed Framework Agreement will be for two years with an option to extend for a period or periods up to 24 months, with the framework period totalling no more than four years. The main areas of activity will comprise individual projects or programmes for new build work, extensions, improvements, renovations, major reinstatement and repairs, building site infrastructure works, it will involve a range of sites. These works may also at times include drainage, roads, public realm, contamination remediation and the laying of services infrastructure. The aim of the Framework Agreement is to achieve efficiencies and savings by means of co-ordinating commissions, standardising elements and driving down cost whilst maintaining quality. The Framework Agreement will be split into five lots, and it is envisaged that the Authority will award to three to four Suppliers for per lot.
Lot Information
Construction Project - Value Band PS0,000 to PS250,000
This Lot 1 is for projects costing from PS0 - PS250,000. The aim of the Framework Agreement is to achieve efficiencies and savings by means of co-ordinating commissions, standardising elements and driving down cost whilst maintaining quality. It is envisaged that the Authority will award to four Suppliers in this lot. The proposed Framework Agreement will be for two years with an option to extend for a period or periods up to 24 months, with the framework period totalling no more than four years. The main areas of activity will comprise individual projects or programmes for new build work, extensions, improvements, renovations, major reinstatement and repairs, building site infrastructure works, it will involve a range of sites. Demolition WorksThis lot could cover projects of any value. Activity will comprise individual projects involving building demolition, by hand or mechanical means (but excluding use of explosives), removal of footings, filling of basements and reinstatement of soil. Projects will be at various sites across the city and will include buildings in all traditional materials. Works specified will include confirmation of utilities diversions/disconnections, preparation of demolition method statement appropriate for the structure, also potentially removal of non-notifiable asbestos, temporary or permanent reinstatement works to adjoining buildings, hard or soft surfacing works, temporary site hoardings, permanent fencing, all as specified for individual sites.
