Cambridgeshire County Council Minor Works Framework Covering Building Fabric and Mechanical & Electrical Work
Notice Description
The Authority wishes to appoint a framework of contactors to carry out minor maintenance, refurbishment and alteration projects (Lots 1-3) and Mechanical and Electrical Works (Lots 4-5), up to a value of PS1,000,000 (Lots 1-3) and PS500,000 (Lot 4-5), with the right to go above these thresholds if specific projects demand it, across a variety of properties within the geographical boundary of Cambridgeshire. The Provider shall be expected to undertake small jobs and minor works including building and building services replacement and refurbishment work. This will range from "handyman" work to replacement of failed building elements such as roofs and will include refurbishing facilities such as kitchens and toilets as well as minor building modifications. The requirement is divided into 5 Lots. Potential providers are invited to bid for one or more lot(s), up to a maximum of 4 lots (successful providers can potentially be on a maximum 2 of the 3 Building Fabric lots, and also the 2 Mechanical & Electrical lots)

"reviewDetails": "CCC will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. The duration of this standstill will be disclosed at this point. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Such additional information should be required from (Refer to address in part 1.1). If an appeal regarding the award of a contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2006 No 5) provide 14 / 14 for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be brought promptly. Where a contract has not been entered into the Court may order the setting aside of the award decision or order the authority to amend any document and may award damages. If the Contract has been entered into the Court may order the ineffectiveness of a Contract where serious breach have occurred in addition to any fine, the Court may instead provide for alternative penalties, either contract shortening, fines or both."
