Summary of the contracting process

The NHS London Procurement Partnership is conducting a procurement process for "Digital Document Solutions," focused on IT services such as consulting and software development. This initiative, classified under services, aims to provide a framework for digital document solutions and is currently at the Award stage, with the contract valued at £5 billion and signed on 28th September 2021. The procurement method employed is a limited procedure, allowing for direct award to selected suppliers without prior publication of a call for competition. The contract involves delivery across the UK, specifically targeting registered social landlords in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in digital document solutions and related IT services. Companies that specialise in services like internal and external printing, scanning, document storage, and electronic document management would be well-suited to compete. The framework allows for further competition and direct award, enabling suppliers to showcase innovative products and offerings within the agreed parameters. With a diverse supplier base already engaged, both large enterprises and SMEs can benefit from this extensive procurement opportunity.
