The Libraries Consortium Courier Services Framework
Notice Description
The Libraries Consortium (LLC) is a group of library services serving the following local authorities, namely: Barking & Dagenham, Brent, Croydon, Ealing, Enfield, Essex County Council/Thurrock , Hackney, Harrow, Havering, Hounslow, Kingston upon Thames, Lewisham, Luton County Council, Merton, Newham, Redbridge, Surrey County Council, Sutton, Tower Hamlets, and Waltham. The Libraries Consortium (TLC) has appointed a Courier Service through a Framework Agreement following an open tendering exercise to secure the safe and prompt movement of library stock (books) and other goods (CDs, DVDs, etc.) within the local authority (internal) libraries and between libraries in the LLC (external). The Framework Agreement will be for a period of 2 years from 01.07.2022. The contracting authorities will call off from the framework from 01.07.2022 for a period of 2 years. This call off can be extended for up to 3 years at the discretion of the Consortium.

On behalf of the Libraries Consortium (LLC) the London Borough of Lewisham has conducted a procurement exercise to establish a Framework agreement for courier services to secure the safe and prompt movement of library stock (books) and other goods (CDs, DVDs, etc.) within the local authority (internal) libraries and between libraries in the TLC (external). The framework agreement will be accessible to the following local authorities: Barking & Dagenham, Brent, Croydon, Ealing, Enfield, Essex County Council/Thurrock , Hackney, Harrow, Havering, Hounslow, Kingston upon Thames, Lewisham, Luton County Council, Merton, Newham, Redbridge, Surrey County Council, Sutton, Tower Hamlets, and Waltham Forest. New joiner: * Hammersmith and Fulham And local authorities that join the TLC. The framework contract has been awarded to CitySprint UK. The value of the framework is estimated at PS861,360 over 2 years, and estimated at PS2,153,402 if the extension periods are fully utilised.
