East Lothian Council in partnership with the Supplier Development Programme, will host a Virtual Meet the Buyer Event on 10th March 2022 at 14:00 GMT. Businesses will be able to meet with procurement and those involved with active travel within East Lothian Council. This event aims to share current market intelligence and provide an opportunity to learn about top tendering tips to enable businesses to become tender ready. The event is FREE to attend.

East Lothian Council in partnership with the Supplier Development Programme is hosting a virtual Meet the Buyer event on 10th March 2022 at 14:00 GMT. This event will provide attendees and exhibitors with an opportunity to learn about East Lothian Council's plans to widen electric bike access across the county, which includes proposals for a county-wide public hire electric bike scheme. Businesses will be encouraged to share any experience that could inform the specifications and parameters of a subsequent procurement process. Businesses will also have the opportunity to obtain advice on how to submit relevant tenders and ask any questions relating to completion of tenders. Suitable for a range of suppliers including electric bikes; electric cargo bikes; docking and charging infrastructure; digital display boards for hire locations; signage; servicing and maintenance of electric bikes and electric cargo-bikes; and web, app and back office systems for public hire electric bike schemes. In order to ensure the council can consider all potential options and set appropriate parameters for the procurement process, the council is publishing this PIN. We would be grateful for your input and feedback to assist us in obtaining current market information.
