Summary of the contracting process

Thames Water Utilities Limited is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for their "Network Monitors RFI" project, aimed at gathering information on the supply and repair of network monitoring equipment across both clean and wastewater services throughout their region. The procurement, classified under the CPV code for instruments measuring flow, level, and pressure of liquids and gases, is expected to support the end of several existing Framework Agreements. Responses to the market engagement are due by 5pm on Thursday, 31st March 2022. The submissions must be made through the IASTA Smartsource platform, and further information can be accessed via the supplier information pack provided by Thames Water.

This procurement presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in instrumentation and data logging, particularly those offering network equipment and telemetry solutions. Companies with expertise in the supply, installation, and maintenance of measurement devices will find this tender of particular interest. Engaging in this RFI may serve as a pathway for suppliers to gain insight into Thames Water's future procurement needs, enabling them to tailor their offerings to meet the requirements posed by the changing landscape of clean and wastewater services.
